Em and Sam’s wedding at Zest at The Spit, Mosman was a beautiful event honouring the love of two genuinely lovely people.

Em and Sam met while they were both working in the service and spent most of their time apart while planning their wedding. The first time I spoke to Em was while she was deployed overseas! She’s so amazing that she was able to organise every detail while away for most of it. And to top it off, covid changed the plans too so Em (and of course Sam) planned at least two weddings.

But it was all worth it in the end!

We started the day with a ‘first look’ portrait session so they could maximise the amount of time they spent with their guests. We explored the areas in and around The Spit reserve and the Mosman Rowing Club (where we saw another wedding underway!!)

Their ceremony was conducted by Stephen Lee who I’ve worked with a couple of times now and is just so great at what he does. They said their vows in front of the beautiful middle harbour foreshore on the most beautiful day.

Being big foodies, Em and Sam put a big emphasis on the food for their guests. Zest at The Spit created an amazing set-up with four food stations including a dumpling bar, antipasto setup and a giant dessert bar complete with chocolate, marshmallows and fresh fruit. They also hosted a gin bar with their favourite gin brands and fresh garnishes.

They finished the night with a good boogie on the dance floor celebrating with all of their beautiful friends and family. It was such a great day and I am so honoured to have been there with them to capture it all
